About Our Mysore Masala Dosa

Mysore Masala Dosa is a beloved variation that originated in the royal city of Mysore, Karnataka. What sets it apart is the special red chutney that's spread on the inside of the dosa before adding the potato filling. At Golden Peacock South Indian Restaurant, we make this chutney fresh daily using a traditional recipe.

Our Mysore chutney combines dried red chilies, garlic, cumin, and other spices ground into a fiery paste. This is generously spread on the crispy dosa, which is then filled with our signature potato masala. The combination of the crispy dosa, spicy red chutney, and flavorful potato filling creates an incredible symphony of flavors and textures. Served with coconut chutney, tomato chutney, and sambar.
